TRAINING DETAILS

Security Live has a range of Seminars and Training Classes to be held on Saturday 22nd of September.  Payment for all classes can be made through PayPal on completion of the online form or by cheque later, but payment is required before we can allow admittance to any seminar.  Members of the Association or those employed by MLA Apporoved Companies will receive a substantial discount, proof  of membership will be required on attendance. Please note that places are limited so early booking is essential and priority will be given to members of the Association.

UPVC DOOR LOCK OPENING AND REPAIR

A 1 hour class covering opening techniques for locked UPVC doors, including jammed mechanisms.  It will also cover repairing damaged doors and replacing mechanisms

HOW TO PASS THE BLI EXAM

A 45 minute seminar giving an overview of the BLI examination to become a qualified locksmith.  With tips on the sort of product knowledge required, key cutting aids and lock fitting, as well lock opening, this is an essential seminar for anyone looking to become a qualified locksmith.

LOCK IDENTIFICATION THROUGH THE KEY HOLE

An hour’s popular class on identifying locks through the keyhole.  Covering the major points needed to identify a lock in a locked door, this is an essential class for any locksmith starting out in the industry or for those looking to broaden their knowledge.  The class will include data sheet handouts at the end of the hour.

1 hour of basic electrical theory and non-product specific installation practice.  Including the use of relays and multimeters, as well as good termination practice.  A must have class for those locksmiths wishing to develop their skills.

LOCCA INSTALLATION

A 1 hour class covering the installation and commissioning of the Era Locca access control system.  The class will cover wiring and locking hardware specification.  All those who attend the class will be given a free Locca unit (retailing for around £100.00) to take away with them.
