SimonsVoss Technologies AG develops, manufactures and markets wireless electronic locking and access control systems for building applications. The Munich-based High-Tec Company was founded in 1995 and launched in late 1998 with its “Digital Locking Cylinder” a world market novelty. Based on this innovation, SimonsVoss has developed a complete system for digital, wireless locking and access control. (Door control, etc.). Its unique technology advantages consist in the “Plug & Play” approach, since all components work wireless with lowest energy consumption.
In the meantime SimonsVoss established itself as European market and technology leader in the rapidly growing market of battery powered, wireless electronic locking systems. Currently, the company employs a staff of 160 (as of January 2007) based in the Headquarters in Munich, the manufacturing site Petersberg/Germany and sales offices in France, Great Britain, Netherlands, Austria, VAE/Dubai, Singapore and the US. Sales developed from € 4.7 million in 2000 to over €27.0 million (approx. £18,7 million) in the year 2006. In the year 2007 further significant growth is planned.
